Hot and Humid weather, isolated storms predicted for today

WEB DESK: On Thursday, the weather is expected to remain hot and humid across most parts of the country, with partly cloudy skies in some areas. However, strong winds and thundershowers are anticipated in select regions of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, South-East Sindh, and North-East Balochistan.

Going region by region, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that in Islamabad the weather is expected to be hot and humid. But there is a possibility of gusty winds and thundershowers in the evening or night.
Punjab will experience partly cloudy conditions in most districts, with the potential for strong winds and thundershowers in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, and several other districts.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also see partly cloudy weather in most districts, with a chance of rain accompanied by gusty winds and thundershowers in areas such as Chitral, Swat, Peshawar, and Dera Ismail Khan.

In Sindh, hot and humid conditions will prevail, but rain and thunderstorms are likely in Mithi, Tharparkar, and nearby regions, with coastal areas potentially experiencing light rain or drizzle.
Balochistan is set to remain hot and humid, though evening and nighttime storms are expected in Zhob, Loralai, and other areas, with a chance of rain.
Similarly, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan may see rain with strong winds and thunder at a few locations.
