ISLAMABAD: Hot and dry weather has been predicted in most parts of the country for the next 24 hours with isolated thunderstorm in northern areas, according to a fresh weather alert.
In upper Punjab, areas like Murree, Galiyat, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, and Lahore are expected to receive rain
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), hot and dry weather is predicted for Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The PMD has predicted hot and dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours.

In northern areas, thunderstorms with rain are likely at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan. Most parts of Azad Kashmir may also receive rainfall.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chitral, Shangla, Dir, Swat, Malakand, and Kohistan are expected to receive rain. Light rain is also expected at a few spots in Mansehra and Abbottabad.
The Met Office has advised the public to stay updated and take necessary precautions based on local weather conditions.
