ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has once again submitted a petition to the Supreme Court’s Practice and Procedure Committee, requesting that Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa recuse himself from any case involving Khan or PTI.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Committee is set to meet at 4 PM today, according to sources. The agenda includes discussions on the Article 63A revision petitions, with Justice Muneeb Akhtar having written the majority opinion on the interpretation of Article 63A. In that ruling, it was stated that any vote cast against party policy would not be counted.

The committee will also address the long-pending alleged audio leaks case, which has been under review for over a year. A five-member bench led by former Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial had issued an injunction in the matter.
