Imran Khan gives final call for Islamabad protest

ISLAMABAD: Founder Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan has given a final call for an Islamabad-centric protest on November 24 against the incumbent government.

Aleema Khan, sister of Imran Khan, while talking to reporters said that PTI leader has given a final call for a protest which will not only be held in Islamabad but the entire country as well.

She said that all PTI supporters should come out on November 24 on the call of their leader for the anti-government protest.

Sharing Imran Khan’s message she said Khan has urged all Pakistanis including farmers, lawyers, and the general public to mobilize for the nation’s future amid the current political situation. She relayed that Khan emphasized the duty of lawyers to protect the Supreme Court and called on civil society to stand up for Pakistan’s democratic institutions and judicial independence.

Aleema Khan said Imran Khan has said that time has come for the nation to rise against the ‘martial law’ and fight for their freedom.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur said that all preparations have been completed for the protest. He said Aleema Khan has given the date for the protest.
