RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations Director General (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, during a press conference on Tuesday, presented evidences proving that India is actively fuelling terrorism inside Pakistan and operating terror networks targeting both military personnel and civilians.
Addressing the media, the DG ISPR said the aim of the today’s press conference was to present evidence of India’s involvement in terrorist activities on Pakistani soil.
It has been seven days since the Pahalgam incident, and yet India has failed to provide any credible proof to back its baseless allegations against Pakistan, he said.
He said that India was not only supporting terrorist networks but also supplying improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and other weapons to carry out attacks in Pakistan.
Providing a recent example, DG ISPR said a trained Indian-backed terrorist was apprehended on April 25 from the Jhelum bus stand.
The suspect was found in possession of an IED, two mobile phones, and Rs70,000 in cash.
A subsequent raid on his house uncovered an Indian-manufactured drone and Rs1 million in cash, he revealed, adding that the seized items had undergone forensic analysis.
Gen Sharif further said that a serving officer of the Indian army, named Sikhwinder Singh, was in contact within the arrested terrorists. “This Indian army officer directed the terrorist to carry out terroristic activities from Balochistan to Lahore.”
The WhatsApp chat between the Indian army officers and the terrorists operating in Pakistan was also accessed, DG ISPR said.
He also apprised the journalists that Major Sandeep Singh of Indian army was sending money to terrorists in Pakistan for carrying out cross-borders terrorist attacks.

The DG ISPR reiterated that all Indian accusations regarding terrorism in Pakistan were “unfounded and politically motivated.”
He urged the international community to take notice of New Delhi’s “covert operations aimed at destabilising the region.”
India continues to avoid accountability for its own actions while spreading disinformation about Pakistan, DG ISPR said, stressing that Pakistan remains vigilant and committed to rooting out terrorism within its borders.
