Intermediate results 2024: Girls top BISE Lahore, other boards

LAHORE: Girls dominated the top positions after the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore and other boards announced the intermediate results for 2024 on Wednesday.
The top three performers for BISE Lahore in the intermediate results for 2024 academic year (AY) include Anum Naseer, who topped with 1090 marks.

The runner-up and third position, however, were secured by male students: Saqib Butt with 1087 marks, and Amir Malik with 1086 marks respectively.
Meanwhile, Rida Fatima from KIPS College secured the top position with an impressive 1153 marks. She was followed closely by Asma Ejaz, also from KIPS College, who achieved runner-up position with 1153 marks.
Only the third position was availed by a male student – Usairam Ahmed from Government College – with 1150 marks.
The anou8cmeent of results was made on Wednesday, with students able to access their results through the official BISE Lahore website, short message services (SMS) or the national gazette.
The Lahore board also announced that it will issue Original Before Time (OBT) certificates for students who took their matric and intermediate exams in the 2021-2022 AY. Result cards are typically issued shortly after the results are announced.
The BISE Lahore board mentioned that the OBT certificates will be issued free of charge. Regular students can submit an authority letter from their educational institute along with their application, while the private candidates need to submit an application to receive their OBT certificates.

These certificates are important for students who have passed thier national exams, as it will help them pursue further education.
Other boards also announced the top performances in their domain, with BISE Rawalpindi, BISE Sargohda, BISE Sahiwal, BISE Faisalabad and BISE DG Khan releasing their results on Wednesday, as well.
