Islamabad police conducts grand search, combing operation

ISLAMABAD: The capital city police conducted grand search and combing operation in different areas of Noon police station in Islamabad.
The personnel were briefed ahead of the operation. Lady police personnel along with Frontier Constabulary (FC) officers participated in the search operation.
During the search operation, 27 suspects, and 500 households, shops, inns, hotels, and motels were inspected. 15 motorcycles and 41 vehicles were also checked during the search operation.
Two pistols were recovered as a result of the combing operation while five motorcycles were shifted to the police station.
Earlier this month, members of a notorious gang were arrested from Noon police station limits. The gang was operating in multiple cities, including Islamabad, Lahore and Faisalabad. The arrested criminals were involved in looting citizens and injuring those who resisted during robberies.
The purpose of today’s search and combing operation was to control and solve crimes in the area.
