Japanese ambassador calls on Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE: A Japanese ambassador expressed his desire to further promote relations with Pakistan in a meeting on Saturday.
Bilateral relations and mutual interests were discussed at a meeting held in Lahore between the Japanese ambassador, PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, and the Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
Nawaz Sharif expressed his commitment to further developing the relations between the two nations. The PML-N President stated that Japan stands out in the world for its hard work and dedication according to sources.

Maryam Nawaz praised Japan’s cooperation in improving Pakistan’s education, health, and urban facilities. The Chief Minister apprised the Japanese ambassador of investment opportunities in education, health, and the energy sector in Punjab.
She added that Punjab provides a conducive environment for investment.
The Chief Minister previously expressed that there are good investment opportunities for Japanese companies, stating “skilled young manpower of Punjab can perform unprecedentedly in Japanese institutions.”

Maryam Nawaz has been promoting people-to-people interactions between the province and Japan since May.
Ambassador Wada Mitsuhiro also previously said that “Japan attaches great importance to its relations with Pakistan.”
