Journalist body clean sweeps National Press Club elections

ISLAMABAD: Journalist Panel secured a clean sweep in the National Press Club elections held in Islamabad on Monday.

Despite being Ramazan, a large number of journalists showed up to cast their votes.

According to the results, Azhar Jatoi was elected as President with 1,090 votes, while Nayyar Ali won the Secretary position with 1,063 votes. Waqar Abbasi secured 1,065 votes to become Finance Secretary.

NAB seals Bahria Town properties, investors worried

A total of 2,033 votes were cast, out of which 2,003 were accepted, while 30 were rejected. The opposition has accepted defeat.

Results for the Vice President, Joint Secretary, and Governing Body will be announced today after the vote count is completed.
