KP govt mulling to relaunch social media influencers project

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to evaluate the social media influencers project again. 

Information advisor KP Barrister Saif while talking to the media regarding evaluating the social media influencers project again said that the provincial government has decided to clear the dues and review the social media influencers project again.

This project is being evaluated, he said.

He said that trained social media influencers will be adjusted in different fields.

The provincial government had recruited social media influencers to stay connected to the people. 

Earlier, over one thousand social media influencers were hired to rekindle the government’s image and to counter fake news and propaganda against it, and a whopping amount of Rs870 million was allocated for the project. However the project was shut down due to non-payment.
