Earlier this month, a crucial meeting was held between officials of the Ministry of Interior and the KP Police to discuss the provision of necessary resources. During the meeting, the Ministry of Interior instructed the preparation of a comprehensive summary detailing the resource requirements.
A senior police official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, emphasized the urgency of the situation: “Given the current security landscape, it is imperative that we equip our force with the necessary tools to ensure the safety and security of our citizens.”
The KP Police’s request comes amid increasing security challenges in the region, which have strained the existing resources and highlighted the need for immediate reinforcement.
The Ministry of Interior is expected to review the summary and provide the required funds to enable the KP Police to continue their efforts in maintaining law and order in the province.
