Lawyers lock down sessions court

LAHORE:  Lawyers on Saturday observed a strike and locked entrance gates of Sessions Court to bar the city police from entering the premises.

The decision to deny police personnel entry into the courts was taken after it was alleged police raided the houses of lawyers without any justification.

The protesting lawyers demanded an end to police crackdown and release of those detained without reason.
