Malik Riaz’s Bahria town case: bank submits payment document in SC in 190 million pound case

ISLAMABAD: The UAE based bank has submitted documents in Apex Court in the Bahria Town Karachi 190 million pound case.

According to sources, the documents mentioned the communication of British National Crime Agency (NCA) and related bank.

The National Crime Agency has now had confirmation from West Minister Magistrates Court that the account freezing order originally granted on December 14, 2018 has now set aside by district judge snow.

According to the documents, the payment was deposited into the Supreme Court’s account with instructions and consent of family member of Malik Riaz.

NCA and related bank documents are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom.

The documents also include a letter from the UK’s NCA confirming that the account freezing order had been given by the relevant court itself.
