Man kills wife, before committing suicide in Karachi

KARACHI: A man in Karachi killed his wife before taking his own life inside their home in Malir.

According to witnesses, the distraught individual stood on his house’s balcony and urged the gathering crowd to call the media, threatening suicide if they did not comply.

Upon receiving the report, police officials arrived at the scene and attempted to pacify the man. Unfortunately, after a brief standoff, he closed the door and opened fire, resulting in the tragic deaths of both himself and his wife.

Law enforcement forcibly entered the residence and discovered the lifeless bodies of the couple. However, amid the grim scene, they found the couple’s minor son unharmed. The child is currently under police custody.

Police are investigating the matter.
