Miscreants storm school, burn exam papers in Waziristan

PESHAWAR: Unknown miscreants stormed a school in North Waziristan and set solved examination papers on fire.

The incident happened in Government Higher Secondary School Eidak in Mir Ali Tehsil where unknown suspects took the watchman hostage at gunpoint, and entered the school.

The accused set fire to the solved papers of 23 examination centers and escaped.

According to the watch man as many as 12 miscreants stormed the school. Police have launched an investigation into the incident after registering an FIR.

It should be noted that the Class 9th and 10th exams are being held in the province under the auspices of Bannu Board.

Bannu Board has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.
