ISLAMABAD: Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) has announced a nationwide protest after Friday prayers to condemn Israeli airstrikes on Iran.
According to party officials, protests will be held in major cities. In Karachi, demonstrations are planned at Numaish Chowrangi, M.A. Jinnah Road, Ancholi Society, Federal B Area, Abbas Town/Abul Hassan Isphani Road, Shahrah-e-Pakistan, and around Empress Market.
In Lahore, protest sites include Regal Chowk, Islampura, and Icchra. In Islamabad and Rawalpindi, demonstrations are expected at D-Chowk, G-6, and Satellite Town.
Pakistan strongly condemns Israel’s attack on Iran
The protests follow Israeli airstrikes on Iranian territory Friday morning, targeting nuclear facilities, missile production sites, and top military personnel. Iranian media confirmed explosions near several sensitive locations, including the Natanz uranium enrichment facility.
Pakistan’s Foreign Office issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli action, calling it a violation of international law. “These attacks clearly contravene the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “Pakistan stands in resolute solidarity with the people of Iran.”
