Names of former leadership linger on as CAA neglects to update website

CAA

WEB DESK: The administration of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has neglected to update the institution’s website, causing confusion among visitors as well as delaying uploading of the details of the new management.

Despite the recent change in leadership, the name of former Director-General Khaqan Murtaza remains listed as the DG on the website.

Once again, full ban on plastic bags is going to be implemented

Since Khaqan Murtaza’s departure from the role, the website has failed to reflect the new leadership. Notably, the name and photo of Additional DG Air Marshal Taimur Iqbal are also conspicuously absent from the site.

Moreover, the oversight extends beyond leadership changes, as photographs of other key personnel, including the Director of Finance and the Deputy DG of Air Navigation Service, are also missing from the website.

This lapse in updating crucial information on the CAA’s official platform has raised concerns about transparency and efficiency within the organisation.

With the aviation industry relying heavily on accurate and up-to-date information, stakeholders are urging swift action to rectify the oversight and ensure the website accurately reflects the current leadership and personnel of the CAA.
