“National Unity and Vigilance”, COAS addresses Youth Conference


ISLAMABAD: In a historic address at the Pakistan National Youth Conference held at Jinnah Convention Center Islamabad, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir spoke passionately about the crucial role of the youth in shaping the future of Pakistan.

“It gives me great pleasure to address the future builders of Pakistan and Shaheens of Iqbal,” Army Chief said, adding that “The purpose of creating Pakistan was that our religion, culture and civilization are different from Hindus in all respects and not for us to adopt Western civilization and culture.”

“The youth should have immense confidence in their country, nation, culture and civilization and themselves,” the Army Chief said. “The youth of Pakistan should be sure that they are the heirs of a great homeland and nation.”

“The youth of our country are the guardians of the bright traditions of this nation and country, the interpretation of the dreams of Iqbal and Quaid,” COAS said, adding, “Pakistan Army can fight against terrorists, but the cooperation of the entire nation is necessary against terrorism.”

The purpose of social media and propaganda is to spread uncertainty, chaos and despair, General Asim Munir highlighted, and said that the news on social media has reached critical. “Without research and positive thinking, society remains chaotic,” he insisted.

Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful, the army chief said, adding, the establishment of Pakistan is similar to the Tayyaba state, both founded on the Kalma.”

COAS said that Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with abundant mineral resources, agriculture and young manpower, adding that a Muslim remains grateful to Allah for patience in difficulty and in ease.

“Our forces are always ready against any kind of threat and conspiracy.” COAS General Asim said. “If there is Pakistan then we are, if there is no Pakistan then we are nothing,” he added.

“Pakistan will not compromise on its sovereignty. Have full faith in the bright future of Pakistan and maintain the legacy of the ancestors,” Army Chief said.

During the inspiring speech, the students enthusiastically raised slogans of “Pakistan Army Zindabad,” “Pakistan Zindabad,” and “Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad.” The address left a lasting impact, emphasising the importance of national unity, faith, and vigilance for the prosperity of Pakistan.
