No death in Punjab due to dengue in 2023

LAHORE: Secretary Health Punjab Ali Jan Khan has said that the province has not witnessed a single death due to dengue during the current year.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said during the last 24 hours, dengue was confirmed in 104 new patients across the province and total confirmed cases have risen to 2557.

Ali Jan Khan said that at present, a total of 113 dengue patients are under treatment in hospitals across Punjab, whose condition was satisfactory.

The secretary health urged the citizens to keep their environment clean and dry to prevent dengue.
