Notification of Ramzan timings for government offices

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has notified the working hours for government offices under its ambit during the holy month of Ramzan.
According to the notification issued by the Establishment Division, the working hours will span from 9 am to 3 pm throughout the holy month.
For government offices functioning six days weekly, the schedule extends from 9 am to 2 pm on regular days, while Fridays will observe a shorter work window from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
PUNJAB GOVT
Punjab government has also announced its working hours for government offices, according to which those offices who work five days a week will observe timings from 10:00 am till 4:00pm.
On Friday the timings will be 9am till 1pm.
Those working for six days a week their timings will be 10:00 am till 3:30 pm
SINDH GOVT
In parallel, the Sindh government has also issued directives regarding working hours for its offices during Ramzan.
From Monday to Thursday, offices will be open from 10 am to 4 pm, with a similar schedule on Saturdays.
However, Fridays will see an adjusted timing from 10 am to 1 pm.
For establishments without a designated weekend, the operational hours for Monday through Thursday and Saturday will be from 10 am to 3 pm, while Fridays will observe a shortened schedule from 10 am to 1 pm.
BALOCHISTAN GOVT
The Ramzan timings for offices have been revised in southwestern province of Balochistan.
The provincial government has issued a notification in this regard, facilitating the employees in the holy month of fasting.
From Monday through Thursday, offices will operate from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm while it will work until 1:00 pm on Fridays.
Furthermore, offices operating six days a week will open at 9:00 am and close at 2:00 pm every Saturday during Ramadan. These offices will close at 12 in noon on Fridays.
KP Govt
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa govt has yet to announce its Ramzan timings for offices.
These measures aim to accommodate the observance of Ramzan while ensuring essential government functions continue smoothly.
The holy month of Ramadan is expected to begin from March 12 (Tuesday).
