One terrorist killed, two injured in N Waziristan: ISPR

Rawalpindi: At least one terrorist was killed and two other were injured during an exchange of fire in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan.

According to the army’s military wing, the Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR), the troops had a deadly face-off with a group of terrorists in the valley of Spinwam.

The ISPR said after exchange of intense gunfire, one terrorist was killed and two others were injured.

The ISPR said that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists. The slain terrorist had previously been involved in terrorist activities against security forces and civilians, the ISPR said.

“Locals appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate menace of terrorism from the area,” it said.
