KAMRA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday congratulated Pakistan’s armed forces on the historic and glorious victory over Indian aggression, declaring that the manner in which three Rafale jets were downed by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilots would be remembered “by Modi and the world until the end of time.”
He was addressing PAF Eagles during his visit to Kamra Airbase on Thursday. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and top civil and military leadership were also accompanying him.

The premier said: “I am here today to offer heartfelt congratulations on behalf of myself and 240 million Pakistanis for this remarkable achievement. The sons of great mothers have not only crushed the enemy’s arrogance but also shattered its pride with unmatched professionalism and bravery.”
He clarified the PAF had shot down six Indian jets — not five as previously reported. “The precision strike on three Rafales using JF-17s was a moment that shook the world.”
Pak-India war: Chinese arms superior to expensive Western tech
Recalling the brief conflict that spanned from May 6 to May 10, the prime minister said, “Before the world even realised, you had stunned them with your skill. You lit up the skies in a way that inspired our allies and left our enemies dumbfounded.”
Calling the outcome “the most resounding victory in Pakistan’s history,” Shehbaz said it had shifted not only global perceptions but also the regional balance. “This is a blessing from Allah we must be grateful for.”
He further warned India that “let it be known to our enemy — if they ever cast an evil eye again, they will be crushed beneath our feet.”
Praising military leadership, the prime minister said, “Credit goes to Army Chief General Asim Munir, Air Chief Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, and the Naval Chief for leading from the front. On May 10, the world echoed with the message that Pakistan’s victory was won through technical mastery and indigenous innovation.”
He also added that the war’s outcome demonstrated the strength of Pakistan’s own research and capabilities, and that the PAF’s actions had become a source of immense national pride.
