Parliament unites against Indian aggression

National assembly united against Indian aggression

ISLAMABAD: The Parliament on Tuesday stood united in condemning Indian aggression, vowing a strong response to any misadventure by New Delhi.

Speaker Ayaz Sadiq chaired the National Assembly session where lawmakers from across the aisle expressed solidarity and concern over India’s provocations, particularly its move to violate the Indus Waters Treaty.

PTI CHAIRMAN BARRISTER GOHAR

Barrister Gohar said, “India and Pakistan are neighbours, not perpetual enemies. Stop this warmongering.”

He stressed that while wars have been fought before, the treaty had always been honoured, until now. “For the first time, Modi has violated it. Pakistan must take this issue to the International Court of Justice.”

He warned, “If India attempts any misadventure, it will face the harshest response.” Quoting PTI founder Imran Khan, he said, “Pakistan will not think twice before replying.”

PPP CHAIRMAN BILAWAL BHUTTO-ZARDARI

Bilawal Bhutto said the Pakistani nation does not fear tough times and will respond unitedly to Indian propaganda and aggression.

“Pakistan was created through struggle. Our people have never learned to live in fear.” He accused India of committing state terrorism in occupied Kashmir, where, he claimed, a “bloody campaign” is underway.

He said India was trying to blame 250 million Pakistanis for the recent incident in Pahalgam, despite Pakistan having no link to it. “Pakistan is not the perpetrator of terrorism; it is a victim,” he said, adding that India is irresponsibly pointing fingers.

Bilawal assured the house that “Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression,” and stressed that the enemy cannot divide the Pakistani nation.

He concluded by stating that “the entire nation is united and ready to respond to any challenge.”

MQM FAROOQ SATTAR

Farooq Sattar blasted Modi’s rhetoric, saying “the world is finally waking up. Modi’s mindset is the same that led to the creation of Pakistan.” He slammed India’s lack of proof in recent accusations and mocked Modi’s “Pakistan phobia.”

Sattar declared, “This is not Gaza. If war breaks out, it will go far. Modi has made a huge mistake.” He claimed global opinion was shifting in Pakistan’s favour.

AMIR MUQAM

Federal Minister Amir Muqam said the whole Pakistani nation firmly stands by its armed forces in the face of rising tensions with India.

“India’s irresponsible statements are a threat to regional peace,” he warned.

He accused India of committing serious human rights violations in occupied Kashmir for the past 77 years. “But these brutalities have failed to shake the spirit of Kashmiri freedom fighters,” he added.

Taking a direct jab at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the minister said, “Even if a hundred Modis come, defeat is India’s destiny.”

Muqam declared, “India cannot advance even an inch beyond the Line of Control (LoC).” He said India was placing baseless allegations on Pakistan only to hide its own failures.

“The Pakistani nation is undefeatable,” he said confidently, reiterating full support for the country’s military and national security.

OMAR AYUB

Opposition Leader Omar Ayub criticised the absence of PM Shehbaz Sharif and ministers, saying “22 government benches are empty. This shows their seriousness.” He accused the government of surrendering to pressure.

The house echoed with patriotic fervour, slamming Modi’s alleged violations, pledging full support to Pakistan’s armed forces and rejecting India’s narrative at home and abroad.
