Two killed, one injured in Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR: At least two people were killed and one other was injure in an explosion at Peshawar’s Board Bazaar.

According to preliminary findings, the blast took place on Nasir Bagh Road in Peshawar early on Sunday.

Motorcycle explosion rocks Peshawar

Initially, investigators said that the perpetrators, believed to be terrorists riding a motorcycle, became victims of their own explosives. The intended target of the attack, yet to be identified, was spared as the explosives detonated prematurely.

The blast, which rattled the area, serves as a stark reminder of the persistent threat posed by terrorism in the region.

One reported terrorist, who was injured in the explosion was currently under treatment at the Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) and the police will record his statement as part of the investigation.
