PUNJAB ASSEMBLY PAYS TRIBUTE TO FORCES
Earlier today, the Punjab Assembly passed a resolution to pay tribute to the heroes of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.
The resolution was submitted by ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member Hina Pervaiz Butt. The text of the resolution commended the unparalleled military prowess of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). It also labeled the operation as a golden example of thwarting the enemy’s intentions.
The resolution noted that PAF pilots made history by neutralising the enemy’s most advanced resources. The technical superiority and steely determination of the PAF demoralised the enemy, it said.
The nation salutes the ghazis and martyrs who defended the motherland, the resolution noted, adding that the government should make Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos part of the national curriculum and celebrations, and that the martyrs and ghazis should be awarded the highest national awards.
“This House reiterates its resolve that Pakistan is invincible,” the resolution said.
