Petrol price slashed by Rs8, HSD by Rs11

ISLAMABAD: The interim government of Pakistan has announced a significant reduction in the prices of petroleum products.

According to an official notification released late on Saturday night, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs8 per litre, now reaching Rs323.38 per litre.

In a parallel adjustment, the cost of High Speed Diesel (HSD) has been curtailed by Rs11 per litre, bringing it down to Rs318.18 per litre.

The new prices are set to take effect from October 1.
