PM Kakar kicks off five-day visit to US

NEW YORK: Caretaker Prime Minister (PM) Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has arrived in New York for a five-day official visit.

Upon his arrival at New York Airport, PM Kakar was warmly greeted by Pakistani Ambassador Masood Khan, the Permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram, and other high-ranking officials.

During his visit, the interim premier is set to take part in the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly and hold meetings with world leaders in New York.

Accompanying him on the diplomatic journey is Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, who has also arrived in New York for the occasion. The visit highlights Pakistan’s commitment to engaging with the global community on important matters.
