ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave for Saudi Arabia today (Saturday) to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Riyadh .

Shehbaz Sharif will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Riyadh on April 28-29 during his visit to Saudi Arabia.

The prime minister will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to participate in the high-level forum where they will present Pakistan’s priorities specifically in global health architecture, inclusive growth, revitalising regional collaboration and the need for striking a balance between promoting growth and energy consumption.

On the margins of the main event, both the premier and Dar will also hold bilateral meetings with world leaders, heads of international organisations bodies and other leading personalities participating in the event.

The Prime Minister will also meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Investments and visit of crown prince to Pakistan will be discussed.

Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to meet with the head of International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva and discuss the new economic package.

The premier is also likely to meet with Bill Gates, in the presence of Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and other officials.
