PM Sharif received by His Excellency Sheikh Al Nahyan in UAE

ABU DHABI: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has arrived in Abu Dhabi for a one-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a statement issued by the PM press wing said on Thursday.

The visit aims to strengthen economic ties and explore new investment opportunities in the information technology sector.

Upon his arrival, Prime Minister Sharif was warmly received by His Excellency Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

The reception also saw the presence of prominent officials, including Pakistani Ambassador to the UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmzi and Emirati Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi, along with senior officials from both nations.

During his stay, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to engage with leading Pakistani and Emirati businessmen and investors, with a particular focus on the burgeoning information technology sector. This meeting is expected to pave the way for enhanced bilateral cooperation and investment in this critical field.
