Teachers are invaluable: PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Both Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz praised Pakistani teachers on Saturday, World Teachers’ Day. They highlighted their necessity to the future of education in the nation.
“We recognize the invaluable role of teachers,” said PM Shehbaz, as he discussed how the development of the country is fundamentally linked to the education of our youth.
He stated that the goal moving forward is to establish a “high-performing” educational system. Encouraging the teaching staff to create quality education within the nation is of paramount importance. To that end, PM Shehbaz shared that the government will continue to invest in modern infrastructure and additional educational resources.

The PM acknowledged the selfless, and often thankless, mission of promoting knowledge that educators undertake. “Teachers shape young minds with their unwavering commitment,” he said, expressing the necessity of proper education for the future of the country, as he lauded the nations teaching staff.
“Teachers are like lamps that illuminate the darkness of ignorance with knowledge,” said Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, discussing the “sacred duty” of educating the new generation.
Heroes, is what the Chief Minister called teachers in the country, as the fight to provide new dimensions to student’s minds. She expressed that proper education provides students with the ability to turn their dreams into reality.

“I can never forget the role of teachers in what I am today,” shared Nawaz.
