Police Martyrs’ Day commemorated across country

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the great sacrifices of all police martyrs. He said that Martyrs’ Day is a day to remember the eternal sacrifices of the brave policemen and policewomen.
In his message, Mohsin Naqvi states, “Police martyrs are the pride of the entire nation.” He appreciated the exemplary services of the police from all provinces in establishing peace.

“The eternal sacrifices of police martyrs are our precious asset which can never be forgotten,” Naqvi said. He expressed complete solidarity with the families of the martyrs on Martyrs’ Day, assuring them that “we are with the families of police martyrs every moment and will remain with them.”
He added, “The nation is always proud when it honors its martyrs,” and assured that he will not compromise on honouring the martyrs.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also paid tribute to the great sacrifices of all martyrs on Police Martyrs’ Day. Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the martyrs will always live in our hearts and that their eternal sacrifices are an invaluable asset that can never be forgotten.
In her message, Maryam Nawaz said, “Salutations to the great sacrifices of all martyrs.” She added, “This day reminds us of the martyrs, and their sacrifices can never be forgotten. Martyrs’ Day is a day to pay tribute to the great sacrifices of our brave children. Martyrs will always live in our hearts.”
She added, “The eternal sacrifices of police martyrs are an asset that can never be forgotten. The nation is proud of those who honor the martyrs. There will be no compromise on honoring martyrs.”
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur also shared a message on Police Martyrs’ Day. He said, “On the occasion of Police Martyrs’ Day, I salute the martyrs. The brave police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have created an eternal story of sacrifices and the sacrifices of police martyrs will never be forgotten”.

He added that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police’s testimonies for peace will be written in golden letters, adding that the provincial government will not leave the families of police martyrs alone.
Likewise, in Balochistan The main ceremony is set to take place at the Central Police Office in Quetta. Inspector General (IG) Balochistan, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, will honor the memory of the fallen heroes by placing flowers at the martyrs’ memorial. The ceremony will also be attended by the families of the martyrs, who will pay their respects to their loved ones who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.– INP
