President approves appointments of six judges in SHC

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari approved the elevation of six additional judges to full judges in the Sindh High Court.

The Ministry of Law has issued a notification confirming the permanent appointment of six judges in the Sindh High Court.

Among the judges made permanent are Justice Amjad Ali Bohyo, Justice Sana Akram Manhas, Justice Jawad Akbar Sarwana, Justice Muhammad Abdul Rahman, Justice Khadim Hussain and Justice Arbab.

On April 13, the judges who have been made permanent will take their oath of office in the Sindh High Court. The swearing-in ceremony for the six permanent judges will be held at the Sindh High Court.

Sindh High Court Chief Justice, Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi, will administer the oath to the newly appointed permanent judges.
