President, PM convey greetings on eve of Eid Milad-un-Nabi


On 12 Rabi-ul-Aawal, President Zardari congratulateed the nation and wider Muslim world on the celebration of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi.

ISLAMABAD: On the occasion of 12 Rabi-ul-Aawal, President Asif Ali Zardari extended congratulations to the nation and the Muslim world on the celebration of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi.

In his address, Zardari talked about the significance of the day, referring to the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a great blessing and a source of guidance for humanity.

“This day lights the candle of love for the Prophet in the heart of every Muslim,” Zardari stated. The president talked about the importance of the Prophet’s teachings in fostering unity and compassion among people.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also conveyed his message to the nation. Shehbaz congratulated the Muslim community and the people of Pakistan on the occasion.

He remarked that Allah granted the light of perfect guidance through the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who advocated for unity, love, and brotherhood.

In his address, the Prime Minister urged the nation to set aside differences and work collectively for the development of the country. He talked about that the Prophet’s teachings on helping the weak, orphans, and the needy.

Shehbaz called for a focus on alleviating poverty and addressing the hardships faced by farmers.

The Prime Minister also took the opportunity to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and Kashmir. He talked about that the Prophet’s teachings on justice, freedom, and the protection of human rights.

Shehbaz also called on the international community to support these causes and pledged to raise awareness on various platforms.

The PM concluded his message with a prayer for peace, development, and prosperity in Pakistan, urging the nation to follow the example set by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
