ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalised its protest strategy, planning a coordinated demonstration and march on Islamabad from all provinces on November 24.
According to party sources, the PTI leadership is determined to reach the federal capital despite anticipated obstacles and barricades by the government.
Party leaders in Islamabad and Rawalpindi have been tasked with mobilising maximum participation leading up to the protest day. They have been asked to sustain efforts until reinforcements arrive from other provinces.

Sources further said that instructions regarding the exact location of the sit-in will be communicated closer to the date of the protest. While some members of PTI’s core committee have proposed D-Chowk as the venue, the leadership has declared that the protest will be both indefinite and decisive.
Logistics and Financial Arrangements
Meanwhile, the PTI leadership has directed its members of the National Assembly (MNAs) and members of all four provincial assemblies (MPAs) to bear the costs of transporting party workers from their respective districts to Islamabad.
A detailed plan has been devised to coordinate accommodations and logistics for participants upon their arrival in the federal capital, the sources said.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that this protest will feature a significant “surprise,” with the strategy being more comprehensive and well-prepared than previous demonstrations.
In case the central leadership was arrested, sources said, that a “Plan B” was ready by delegating responsibilities to second- and third-tier leaders to ensure continuity of the protest.
