ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Secretary Information, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barrister Saif has raised concerns over the sudden closure of major highways across the country, including the main routes from Murree to Islamabad.
According to the barrister, convoys are being halted at various locations, causing significant disruption to transport and public mobility. PTI is holding a rally today at the location of Sangjani, Islamabad.

“Key highways have been closed, and our convoys are being stopped at different places,” Saif stated, emphasising the widespread impact on both personal and commercial travel.
Barrister Saif also criticised the large-scale presence of containers in Islamabad, suggesting they are part of a larger, orchestrated effort. “There is a rally of containers in the capital, with millions of them being rented out of your pocket and mine,” he claimed, highlighting the cost to the public and the implications for freedom of movement.
