ISLAMABAD: The 12th Rabiul Awwal procession, marking Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), followed its traditional route and reached its final destination at G6 Aabpara, where it concluded peacefully.

As the procession passed through the G6 sector of Islamabad, several roads were temporarily closed to ensure smooth passage.

Security was significantly tightened in the area, particularly along the road leading to Itwar Bazaar and Laal Masjid, which was closed briefly as the procession, including cars and horse-drawn buggies, passed through.

Additionally, the Pakistan State Oil (PSO) petrol pump in Melody Market, near the Islamabad Hotel, remained closed as of 3:00 PM on Tuesday.
