PESHAWAR: In a concerning development, the Sehat Card services in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have once again been suspended, leaving many patients without access to essential medical treatment.
An official announcement from the insurance company has instructed all panel hospitals to cease admitting new patients under the Sehat Card scheme.
The insurance company has conveyed that due to a lack of treatment funds available on the health card, all new admissions are prohibited. While emergency treatments will still be conducted in panel hospitals, it will only be possible after obtaining prior authorization.
