PTI leaders Omar Ayub and Zartaj Gul are also expected to be arrested. The arrests are being made due to the PTI leadership’s failure to comply with the NOC for public gatherings on the outskirts of Islamabad.

A heavy police presence has been deployed outside the Parliament House, and all entry and exit routes to the Red Zone have been blocked.

The Red Zone has been completely sealed off at D-Chowk, Nadra Chowk, Serena, and Marriott points.

The only route open for entering and exiting the Red Zone is Margalla Road.

Sources further revealed that at least three FIRs have been filed against PTI leaders for violating the NOC issued for the public gathering by failing to conclude it on time.
