Suspect in 11 murders arrested after nine years

KHAIRPUR: Khairpur police have apprehended Zulfiqar alias Bhutto Junejo, the main suspect in the killing of 11 people during local body elections nine years ago.

The Sindh government had placed a Rs 2 million reward on Junejo, who had been in hiding since the 2015 municipal elections in Ranipur within the Darza Sharif limits.

Eight-day physical remand approved for Imran, Bushra Toshakhana case

SSP Zubair Nazir Sheikh reported the recovery of a Kalashnikov and bullets from the suspect.

Junejo, wanted in connection with 11 different cases including murder, robbery, and theft, evaded capture for nearly a decade.

Police anticipate further revelations as the investigation progresses. – INP
