RAWALPINDI:  Telecommunication federal secretary has been arrested from the courtroom for misconduct in the court on Saturday.

Civil Judge Adil Sarwar Siyal was infuriated with defamatory and inappropriate behaviour of federal secretary Muhammad Umar Malik and ordered his arrest.

Court sentenced the federal secretary with 15-day imprisonment and Rs2,000 fine.

LHC moved against nominal decrease in petroleum prices

The federal secretary appeared before the court as a petitioner in a case. The court took the notice of his misconduct in the courtroom during the hearing.

Court also issued order of arrest of federal secretary who was taken to Adiala Jail
