Today’s weather: partly cloudy with chance of rain, thunderstorms

WEB DESK: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that the weather across Pakistan will show mixed conditions, with some regions bracing for rain and thunderstorms, while others experiencing dry and hot weather.

Going region by region, PMD predicts that Islamabad and surrounding areas are expected to have partly cloudy skies, with the possibility of rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms at a few locations.

In most districts of Punjab, the weather is expected to remain hot and dry. However, rain with strong winds and thunderstorms is likely at a few places in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Mianwali, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Sargodha.

Moving towards Sindh, the weather is expected to remain hot and dry.

Moving towards Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the weather is expected to remain hot and dry. However, rain with strong winds and thunderstorms is likely at a few places in Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Mardan, Peshawar, Kurram, Kohat, Karak, Lakki Marwat, and Dera Ismail Khan.

In Balochistan, the weather is expected to remain hot and dry.

Kashmir’s weather is expected to remain partly cloudy with the possibility of rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms at a few places.
