Two brothers shot dead in Karachi’s SITE area

KARACHI: Two brothers were killed and three have been injured in a firing incident at a house in the SITE area of Karachi.

According to the police, one of the injured brothers said that four to five armed men broke into their house and started shooting. He said that nothing was looted and they had no enmity with anyone.

As a result of the firing, two brothers identified as Samiullah and Asadullah died instantly, while three brothers Akramullah, Shafiullah and Amir Abdullah were injured; one of the injured is said to be in critical condition.

According to the police, all five brothers were government employees.

According to residents of the area, armed robberies have become routine in the area.

Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man was injured in a firing incident in Manzoor Colony. Police said the shooting occurred during a dacoity after the victim resisted. The robbers fled after snatching his motorcycle and mobile phone.
