Two children die after consuming tainted milk in Bahawalnagar

BAHAWALNAGAR: Two children have died in a local village, 122/6R of Bahawalnagar, after they consumed tainted milk. A probe has been launched into the incident.

 DG Punjab Food Authority Asim Javed has taken notice of the incident, and food safety teams have been dispatched to the area and Tehsil Headquarters to launch a probe.

Police have collected milk samples and sent them for forensic analysis.

Expressing his grief over the incident, Asim Javed said the death of the children is extremely tragic. We stand with the grieving families.

No compromise will be made on food quality, and strict action will be taken against violations, he said.
