ISLAMABAD: The Regional Meteorological Center, Lahore’s Director Mahr Sahibzad Khan stated that heavy rainfall is to be expected in entirety of Sindh from Saturday (today).
According to the director, Sindh will experience heavy rainfall on Saturday, with the possibility of heavy rains causing urban flooding in cities.
Similarly, the director predicted continuous rain until night in Bahawalpur and surrounding areas.

Meanwhile, there is a high chance of increased snowfall in mountainous regions, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. He advised tourists to stay home in such unpredictable weather.
Landslides are a huge possibility due to increased rain alongside snow in Murree and surrounding regions.
However, the director assures the public that while there may be issues in cities, no major flooding or flash floods are anticipated.
Gwadar, currently experiencing an ongoing spell of heavy rainfall, is expected to see relief within the next twelve hours. The region has already recorded over 200 millimeters (mm) of rain, underlining the severity of the weather conditions.
The director stated that the unpredictable weather is due to climate change altering traditional rainfall patterns.
