Zero waste operation in Islamabad continues

ISLAMABAD: Teams from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) have been active since morning as part of the zero waste operation in Islamabad. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed that the best cleaning arrangements be maintained in the city.

During a phone call to CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Minister Naqvi emphasised that no effort should be spared in the mission to keep Islamabad clean. He instructed Randhawa to personally oversee the operation.

Minister Naqvi acknowledged the combined efforts of the CDA and Islamabad Police, stating that they have set a high example of public service. He noted the passion and determination with which the CDA has worked.

According to CDA Chairman Randhawa, 2,507 tons of waste has been disposed of as part of the operation so far.
