ANP leader injured in assault by PTI-P MPA near KP Assembly

PESHAWAR: A provincial leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) was injured in an attack near the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in Peshawar.

The incident occurred late Saturday night, allegedly involving a member of the provincial assembly (MPA) from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Parliamentarians (PTI-P).

ANP leader Alf Khan was allegedly assaulted by PTI-P’s MPA Iqbal Wazir and his companions. Peshawar Police have registered a case against Iqbal Wazir following the incident.

As per the report, ANP’s provincial leader Alf Khan sustained minor injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
