ATC hears pre-arrest bail requests of Imran Khan, others in May 9 cases

ISLAMABAD: Requests for pre-arrest bail in terrorism cases against PTI founder Imran Khan and others have been filed at the Sangjani and I-9 police stations. The hearing took place today at the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad, presided over by Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and ruling party’s member Raja Khurram Shehzad appeared in court.

During the proceedings, Judge Sipra called Gandapur to the rostrum and remarked that today, Raja Khurram would provide copies of the challan.

The court adjourned the hearing until July 29, at which time the accused will be formally charged.
