Bilawal advocates against politics of revenge, respecting difference of opinion

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday advocated against vengeful politics while addressing students from Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Instituted of Science and Technology (SZABIST), in Islamabad.
In a question and answer session titled ‘Chuno Nai Soch Ko’ with the university students, the PPP chairman highlighted issues plaguing Pakistan including climate change, inflation and unemployment.
“Pakistan is in danger due to economic crisis and climate change”, he said.
While presenting his solutions to these issues, he said that Pakistan needs to fight together with the world to mitigate climate change. He further said that his government will provide ‘green jobs’.

Talking about the inflation, the PPP chairman highlighted that Rs1500 billion used to be given in subsidies. He promised to end subsidies for the elite and invest it on public.
Bilawal underlined agriculture and energy as key sectors to invest in. while promising free 300 units of solar energy for the poor.
The PPP chairman promised to eradicate poverty and provide healthcare to people of Sindh. He also promised to help the flood victims who are still grappling with aftereffects of the devastating floods that engulfed two-thirds of entire Pakistan.

Will reduce 17 ministers from federal government, “I spent 18 months in the federal government, I am well aware of the bureaucratic mentality”, he added.
The PPP chairman ended the session stressing that resolving Pakistan’s economic problems “was need of hour”.
