IHC disposes application seeking details of cases against Bushra Bibi

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has disposed of an application seeking the provision of details related to cases filed against Bushra Bibi, the wife of former prime minister Imran Khan.

During the hearing, held today, DSP Legal of the Islamabad Police submitted a report through the State Council, outlining the cases registered against her.

According to the submitted report, a case was filed against Bushra Bibi at the Kohsar Police Station in Islamabad on June 6, 2023. Further details about the nature of the charges or the status of the investigation were not disclosed during the hearing.

Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb, presiding over the case, reviewed the report and disposed of the application after the requested details were provided. Justice Aurangzeb is expected to communicate with the State Council regarding any further legal proceedings that may follow in relation to the case.
