JUI-F intra-party elections underway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR: The process of intra-party elections for the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) is currently underway in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a JUI-F spokesperson, more than 2,000 members of the party are casting their votes to elect the Provincial Emir and General Secretary of the party.

The elections are being conducted through a secret ballot system, said Abdul Jalil Jan, overseeing the by-elections in the region.

Following the elections in Peshawar, the same process will take place in Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, and Punjab, as part of the party’s internal election cycle, according to the spokesperson.
